Pond Lehocky associate Joseph M. Squadroni spoke to social workers Nov. 26 at the Gift of Life Family House, educating them about transplant patients’ rights to Social Security disability benefits.
The Gift of Life Family House is a non-profit organization aiding those who travel to Philadelphia for transplant-related care. It provides temporary housing, meals and support services to patients and their families.
During the presentation, Squadroni offered a basic primer on the Social Security disability claims process and an overview of the criteria for eligibility for benefits.
Squadroni joined Pond Lehocky’s disability law department in 2015. He concentrates his practice on Social Security disability. He is admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He earned his J.D. from Widener University School of Law. He is a 2011 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in philosophy, politics and economics.
