Pond Lehocky Giordano is proud to sponsor the 16th Annual Tee Off For the Kids fundraiser supporting Kids’ Chance of Pennsylvania (KCPA). This year, KCPA reimagined the annual event by hosting at 9 different courses across the commonwealth. The final event will be held at Sunnybrook Golf Course in Plymouth Meeting, PA on September 13, 2021. Pond Lehocky Giordano strives to improve our community through educating the public about the law and giving back through volunteer efforts. Kid’s Chance of PA makes those dreams come true. We at Pond Lehocky Giordano are honored and proud to be part of making that dream a reality with the assistance of Kid’s Chance,” Founding Partner and former board member Jerry M. Lehocky said.
Lehocky recently stepped down from the board and his seat was filled in April 2021 by fellow founding partner, Thomas J. Giordano who shared, “we know firsthand how devastating a serious injury or death can be to the loved ones left to carry on. By easing some of the financial burden on that family, Kid’s Chance of PA gives the parents and children hope where it is needed most. We look forward to a long-lasting relationship with Kid’s Chance and will do our best to raise awareness and money to make as many dreams come true as possible.”
The mission of KCPA is to provide scholarship grants for college and vocational education to children of Pennsylvania workers who have been killed or seriously injured in a work-related accident resulting in financial need. The hardships created by the death or serious disability of a parent often include financial ones, making it difficult for deserving young people to pursue their educational dreams.
