Managing Partner Sam Pond appears on the PhillyLabor Radio Show to Promote the Vote

Samuel H. Pond, the Managing Partner of Pond Lehocky Giordano, appeared as a special guest on the new PhillyLabor Show on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT on Saturday, October 10, at 7pm. Pond joined host Joe Dougherty, Jr., to discuss the firm’s Promote the Vote initiative and how members of the labor movement are affected by the ongoing pandemic.

“Labor is not a political party, it’s bipartisan. Our democracy at the very foundation of it is based on our Constitution, signed here in the great city of brotherly love. It allows you to vote and you have a responsibility to go out and exercise your vote, to protect our way of life, people have sacrificed, lost their lives to protect our ability to vote,” Pond said. Please get out and vote. I’m asking everyone that has a business or an organization, use your power to pay your employees to participate in the process and volunteer on Election Day,” Sam said on the show.

Last time Sam Pond appeared on PhillyLabor Show, he was joined by guests in the labor movement such as Chris Woods, John Bland, Jimmy Chew, Shawn Steffee, Wendell Young IV. Guests often address their connections to unions and the important work union members do.
