Legends of Labor Hall of Fame

The Legends of Labor Hall of Fame was instituted by pro-labor media organizations PhillyLabor.com, JAKIB Media, and Keel Communications in 2023. The distinction is intended to “honor and recognize, in perpetuity, those leaders and friends of Labor, past and present, who have made an indelible mark on working families, their community, and the labor movement.”

The Legends of Labor Hall of Fame was created as part of an effort to better educate union members and the general public about the principles and history of the labor movement. By recognizing great leaders who help uphold and protect the values of the labor movement, PhillyLabor seeks to inspire and develop the next generation of labor leadership and partnership. The founding organizations demonstrate these same principles in their weekly radio program on WWDB Talk 860, the Labor Show with JDoc (Joe Dougherty Jr. of PhillyLabor) and Krausey (Joe Krause of Jakib Media).

Pond Lehocky Giordano Founding Partner Samuel H. Pond was honored as the inaugural “Friends of Labor” inductee into the Legends of Labor Hall of Fame in 2023. Since graduating from Temple University School of Law in 1984, Mr. Pond has focused his practice on workers’ compensation litigation. He was instrumental in growing Pond Lehocky Giordano into one of the largest workers’ compensation firms in the United States today. His advocacy for his clients has earned them some of the largest settlements across the country. Mr. Pond cares deeply about being a strong leader who gives back to the community, which is evident from his numerous leadership roles and extensive charitable contributions.
