Following the success of the firm’s first-ever Facebook live on World Health Day, April 7, Pond Lehocky’s managing partner, Sam Pond, will hosted his second Facebook live Q&A. Viewers are encouraged to ask questions regarding COVID-19, workers’ compensation, the Coronavirus Relief Bill or any other legal matters.
Sam answered questions in real time during the 30-minute livestream. The entire broadcast can be viewed here.
“These are not normal times. These are abnormal working conditions. And the men and women of our region, of our city, and of our country have done an outstanding job,” Pond opened his livestream with. “Including the healthcare community fighting this in the hospitals and the medical facilities, but also just the people that are working the essential services. We represent a lot of the bus drivers for SEPTA great union. They’re out there every day transporting these workers. The Teamsters delivering products has been outstanding. The grocery stores and on and on and on. And clearly the union movement has been very good and protecting their clients. But thank you to everyone for all you do and keeping us running, surviving.”
Pond is a founding partner of Pond Lehocky, the largest workers’ compensation and disability law firm in Pennsylvania. A former President of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, he served for six years as treasurer of that organization’s Committee for a Better Tomorrow. He is also the chairman of the Pennsylvania Alliance.
